Crossing boundaries
Crossing boundaries: computational science, e-Science and global e-Infrastructure - volumes I and II (published June 2009)
Compiled and edited by Peter Coveney and Malcolm P Atkinson
In June 2009, the Royal Society has published a double issue of
Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A: Mathematical,
Physical & Engineering Sciences entitled: Crossing boundaries:
computational science, e-Science and global e-Infrastructure – volumes
I and II.
The publication contains a selection of papers presented at the UK e-Science All Hands conference, held in Edinburgh between the 8 and 11 September 2008 ( http://www.allhands.org.uk ).
The papers selected for publication can be considered to represent the cutting edge of e-Science, paving the way towards a new, faster, better and different science than has been possible before. The full contents of both volumes are detailed below and overleaf.
Crossing boundaries: computational science, e-Science and global e-Infrastructure I and II comprise issues 1897 and 1898 of Philosophical Transactions A: Mathematical, Physical and Engineering Sciences and the full content of both issues can be accessed at http://rsta.royalsocietypublishing.org/site/issues/computational_eScience.xhtml
As a special offer for DEISA members, print issues can be purchased at a discounted price (see the Flyer). To place an order at this price, visit the above URL and, when prompted, enter TA 1897 for Vol 1 and/or TA 1898 for Vol 2.
