Travel
All attendees must make their own travel arrangements.

A detailed description of how to get to 'Our Dynamic Earth', which is located in Edinburgh's city centre, can be found at here.
Accommodation
Attendees are advised that they must arrange their own accommodation.
To assist with the accommodation arrangements, we have held a number of rooms at two hotels: The Macdonald Holyrood Hotel and the IBIS Edinburgh.
The rooms are held for the 27th, 28th & 29th April 2008. Mention 'University of Edinburgh, DEISA Symposium' when booking by telephone or email to get the cheaper rate. You cannot get this cheaper rate via online reservation sites. The rooms are held until a few weeks before the event, at which time they will be released to the public. If rooms are still available, then attendees can still get the agreed rate by quoting 'University of Edinburgh, DEISA Symposium'.
